The real booking window
The honest answer is Labor Day. Premium-route neighborhoods (Memorial, River Oaks, Woodlands, Cinco Ranch) fill up by mid-October. After that we're booking against install weekends that get tighter every year.
Why it sells out so early
- Most installers are also doing gutter cleaning this same window
- Premium homes take longer per install — more roofline, more design
- Thanksgiving weekend is the hard deadline, and there are only so many weeks
If you missed the window
Call anyway. There are always cancellations, and mid-season reschedules open up. If you're flexible on install date — 'any week before Thanksgiving' beats 'the weekend of November 15' — we can usually fit you in.
What to have ready when you call
- A rough photo of your home's front
- Whether you've had lights before or it's the first year
- Any preferences on color (warm white vs. classic multicolor) and coverage (roofline only vs. trees and shrubs too)
